At Q-Tech, we are looking for a Platform Engineer for a German start-up specializing in vector databases and semantic search.

Our client develops innovative AI-driven technology, offering vector-based search solutions that enhance information retrieval in complex environments. Their platform enables businesses to process unstructured data with high precision and efficiency, optimizing recommendation systems and advanced data analytics

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient infrastructure using vector database technologies and cloud services

Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate Go-based solutions into the platform

Manage and optimize deployments on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance

Automate development and operations processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors

Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring platform stability and scalability

Stay up to date with the latest trends in containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies

Requirements

Strong experience in Go programming

Solid expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Knowledge of vector databases and modern search engine technologies is a plus

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Contributions to open-source projects

Experience in AI-driven systems, including NLP, recommendation systems, or computer vision

Knowledge of distributed architectures and microservices
