Job Description

At RMgX Technologies, We are looking for driven professionals with strong hands-on Java expertise who can independently handle modules, mentor juniors, and actively contribute to building scalable solutions. At this level, you are expected to balance coding, ownership, and teamwork, while ensuring timely and quality delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java applications.
• Work on REST APIs, Spring Boot, Hibernate for business-critical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security in application design.
• Guide and mentor Associates (L1/L2) and interns in coding practices.
• Contribute to system design discussions, code reviews, and architectural improvements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for better performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 3–4 years of Java backend development experience.
• Proven experience in designing and developing scalable APIs and services.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot).
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) for integrations.
• Experience in code reviews, performance optimisation, and mentoring juniors.

SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong experience with Core Java (Java 8 and above) and OOPS concepts.
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs.
• Knowledge of multithreading, annotations, templates, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in RDBMS concepts (MySQL/Oracle).
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax for front-end integration.
• Experience with Maven, Git, JUnit, logging frameworks (Slf4j/Log4j).
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to take ownership of modules.
• Good communication and leadership skills with mentoring capabilities.
• Familiarity with Spring AI is a desirable/added advantage.
