We are seeking a Senior Manager Field Medical Affairs Hematology Austria to join our Medical Affairs team, supporting our hematology business area in a field-based work mode. In this role, you will drive scientific exchange, generate field insights, and support research initiatives while collaborating with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, investigators, and cross-functional partners.   • Build and maintain engagement plans with medical experts and investigators.
  • Establish scientific relationships with key opinion leaders in hematologic malignancies.
  • Act as a clinical and scientific resource on disease state information.
  • Support company-sponsored studies through investigator selection, site initiation, and enrolment activities.
  • Advance investigator-initiated study concepts with investigators and Medical Affairs partners.
  • Identify medical insights, research gaps, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Present scientific and clinical data compliantly to healthcare professionals and researchers.
  • You bring external insights that help shape medical strategy and priorities.

This role requires:

  • PhD, PharmD, MD, or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years as a Medical Science Liaison in hematology.
  • Knowledge of hematology; lymphoma and/or multiple myeloma experience preferred.
  • Understanding of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, EU regulations, and compliant practices.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific data and engage as a scientific peer.
  • Established relationships with hematology key opinion leaders and relevant institutions preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional collaboration within a matrix pharmaceutical environment.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, tackle problems, manage priorities, and work independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with audience-focused communication.
  • Experience balancing field activities and project participation.
  • Proficiency with word processing, presentations, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel approximately 80%, including overnight travel.
  • Fluency in German and English.
