Position: Electrical Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in electrical engineering for accuracy and quality.
  • Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience.
  • Identify useful reference material relevant to electrical engineering.
  • Share insights into electrical engineering tools, workflows, and standards used daily.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts across different fields to enhance AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Degree-qualified electrical engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US.
  • 2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in areas like power systems, controls, electronics, or signal processing.
  • Familiarity with codes and standards like NEC, IEEE, and tools such as MATLAB, AutoCAD Electrical, or SPICE.
  • Professional working English.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Commitment to 10 hours/week.

Preferred

  • Experience writing technical documentation, specs, or training material.
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT.
