Position: Accounting Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $130–$160/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design precise grading criteria for real-world accounting tasks such as reconciliations, close packages, and financial statements.
• Score AI-generated and human work samples with detailed justifications for each score.
• Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible.
• Incorporate feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly on your work.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Background in audit, assurance, or advisory at leading global accounting firms.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
• Deep fluency in US GAAP application, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable having your judgment reviewed.

Preferred

• Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects.
