Your role

  • Lead the delivery of high‑quality projects, setting clear expectations and building trusted relationships with clients through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
  • Support and develop emerging talent, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture where people can grow and thrive.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to help shape and strengthen a high‑value, profitable service offering that reflects our commitment to technical excellence, innovation, and client outcomes.
  • Apply strong commercial and contractual understanding—particularly of the NEC suite—to ensure projects are delivered with rigour, clarity, and commercial discipline.
  • Bring a proactive, commercially minded, and purpose‑driven approach that consistently adds value for clients and enhances the reputation of our business.
  • Support and manage teams and junior staff in the delivery of quantity surveying and commercial management services.
  • Proactive involvement in the development of our services through not only enhancing the relationships we currently have but also nurturing new one

About you

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent relevant experience, with progress towards professional chartership (RICS or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience with common forms of UK Construction contracts.
  • Experience in cost planning, estimating, benchmarking and commercial management within infrastructure, construction or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, cost management tools and data analysis software
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading business development and, or account management activities for major construction clients.
