Job description

As a Fixed Asset Analyst is your responsible to the analysis and execution the activities and processes related to the fixed asset cycle for all locations in the United States and Canada, within the scope of the four ERPs we manage (Oracle NA12, SAP, SCM, and QAD). You also will be responsible for avoiding significant business risk and ensuring that the operation's fixed asset flows continue to function, under the responsibilities detailed below.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analysis and proper execution of month-end closing activities.
  • Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Tracker
  • Creation of monthly and annual reports and metrics.
  • Execution of physical and remote inventories (all PPG locations, both regions)
  • Analysis, integration validation, and upload of account reconciliations to the platform.
  • Addressing audit requirements (internal and external) and following up.
  • Activities to update internal controls (audit board, SOPs, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Education in accounting/finance (High-school or University degree) or accounting skills
  • 2 years of experience in fixed assets.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (US GAAP).
  • Knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, functions).
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP or Oracle would be an advantage).
