As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our INFODetect Threat & Vulnerability Risk Management (TVRM) practice. We are seeking experienced professionals who can combine strong advisory and client engagement skills with cybersecurity expertise to help mature and deliver our TVRM services.

Position Overview

The INFOADVISOR™ is an independent consultant role similar to how financial advisors, attorneys, and real estate agents operate under a professional network. You will directly support our clients, assessing their information governance and cybersecurity needs, delivering tailored recommendations, and providing ongoing strategic guidance.

This version of the INFOADVISOR™ role is specifically focused on strengthening InfoGov.com’s Threat & Vulnerability Risk Management practice. You will analyze risks, interpret vulnerability data, monitor emerging threats, and help clients maintain a secure and compliant operational environment. At the same time, you will contribute to refining our TVRM methodology and enhancing the client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with client organizations.
  • Facilitate recurring advisory sessions, explain findings, and help clients prioritize risk and remediation efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Threat & Vulnerability Risk Management (TVRM)

  • Perform ongoing threat and vulnerability assessments using InfoGov.com’s INFODetect platform.
  • Analyze vulnerability data (including CVEs, CVSS scoring, exploitability, and impact) to determine risk levels and remediation urgency.
  • Track and report on emerging threats, security advisories, and cyber risk trends.
  • Deliver detailed TVRM reports that translate technical issues into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Guide clients in developing remediation plans, mitigation strategies, and governance enhancements.

Information Governance Needs Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive information governance assessments to identify data risks, privacy considerations, and compliance gaps.
  • Evaluate clients using InfoGov.com’s structured methodologies and best practices.
  • Provide tailored recommendations around data governance, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.

Solution Design & Implementation Support

  • Create customized governance, privacy, and cybersecurity strategies aligned to each client’s environment.
  • Collaborate with InfoGov.com experts on specialized matters involving AI, cloud security, blockchain, sensitive data, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist clients in developing policies, procedures, and documentation for improved governance and security posture.

Education & Client Enablement

  • Educate clients on information governance, cybersecurity hygiene, data protection, and compliance obligations.
  • Promote proactive risk management practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support the development of webinars, workshops, and knowledge resources.

Practice & Platform Development

  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of InfoGov.com’s TVRM methodologies, tools, templates, and reporting frameworks.
  • Provide product feedback to support the evolution of INFODetect and INFOCLAVE® Secure Enclave platforms.
  • Mentor new INFOADVISORs and support practice expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications
