The Opportunity

Please note: This posting is for a forthcoming opportunity in advance of an official government procurement. This is for roster-building purposes and is not a currently confirmed job or active task order.

In preparation for upcoming federal opportunities, we are building a roster of specialized Behavioral Health Trainers. Selected trainers will deliver certified behavioral health and clinical training to professionals and paraprofessionals. These trainings will be deployed in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid posture in areas where a disaster declaration or national emergency has recently occurred. Deployments may be located within the United States and territories.

Required Training Modalities

Candidates must be nationally recognized trainers, certified to provide one or more of the following evidence-based trainings:

  • PFA Train-the-trainer (TtT)
  • SPR Train-the-trainer (TtT)
  • Psychological First Aid (PFA) 
  • Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR)
  • Healing After Trauma Skills (HATS)
  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Written Exposure Therapy (WET)
  • Prolonged Exposure (PE)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Current, unrestricted, and valid license to practice in one of the 50 states, U.S. territories, or Washington D.C., as an LCSW, PhD Psychologist, PsyD., or M.D./D.O. Psychiatrist, or comparable profession
  • Demonstrated experience working with survivors of disasters, evidenced by a keen understanding and knowledge of the impacts of recent disasters.
  • Experience delivering behavioral health training designed for professionals and paraprofessionals.
  • Willingness to deploy to recently impacted disaster locations

Compensation: $125-185/hour
