In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with various teams across the compan abd you will be the driving force behind the design, deployment, and operation of our cloud-based anonymization and analytics services. As a Cloud Platform Engineer within our Platform Operations Team, your focus will be on designing, deploying, and operating our cloud-based GRC and HRIS services, along with their underlying platform. You’ll be at the forefront of implementing and managing the tools and technologies that power our core operations processes, such as data ingestion, validation, scheduling, risk assessment, analytics, and modeling.


The role's areas of focus:


  • Cloud Certification: Certified in one of Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure Public Cloud technologies, demonstrating mastery in cloud management.
  • Deployment Proficiency: Skilled in configuring and maintaining services in Multi-Cloud environments, deploying virtual machines, web apps, and containerized components with integration into identity management services.
  • Automation Expertise: Ability to automate workloads using various services and tools, leveraging native command line tools like Microsoft Azure and implementing Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.
  • DevOps Support: Support all DevOps activities and ensure Cloud resources are managed as code, integrated into CI/CD pipelines for streamlined operations.
  • Monitoring Solutions: Implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure and services using opensource dashboarding technologies like Graphana across multiple Clouds.
  • Security Champion: Apply a risk-based approach to implement security policies, ensuring GDPR and InfoSec compliance, enabling security measures such as encryption at rest and in motion, identity management, and threat detection.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with the security team to promote and implement best practices in cloud security, participating in Agile Scrum-based standups with development teams for seamless software deployment to the cloud.
  • Release Excellence: Champion structured, quality release of software in a repeatable manner, ensuring reliability and efficiency in software deployment.

  • Scripting Savvy: Proficient in automating manual processes using Python and Unix Shell scripting, bringing efficiency and scalability to operations.
  • CI/CD Mastery: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TFS/VSTS, Maven, Gradle, Nexus, Artifactory, or similar, tailored to the specific technology stack.

  • Versatile Skillset: Experience in Linux, Database Technologies, Application Servers, Integration, DevOps, Kubernetes, Containers, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), providing a holistic approach to infrastructure management.
  • Innovative Mindset: Creativity and a passion for tackling challenging data problems, coupled with a willingness to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence, facilitating seamless collaboration and project management.
  • Git Governance: Experience in managing Git repositories, ensuring version control and collaboration efficiency.
  • Shell Scripting Proficiency: Proficient in Linux shell scripting, enabling automation and orchestration of system tasks and processes.
