(Remote) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - NY Licensed

Thrivemind Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in providing remote mental health services to patients in New York. As a PMHNP, you will work closely with our team of psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health care to our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, prescribing medication, and developing treatment plans for patients. You will also provide ongoing medication management and therapy services through remote telehealth platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a NY licensed PMHNP with a strong background in mental health and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients

- Prescribe and monitor medication regimens for patients

- Provide ongoing medication management and therapy services through remote telehealth platforms

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice

Requirements:

- NY state license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PMHNP

- DEA in the state of NY

- Experience in providing remote mental health services is preferred

- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatments, and medications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Comfortable using telehealth platforms for remote patient care
