Are you Smart, Hungry, and Humble? We're looking for exceptional individuals who combine deep technical mastery with a genuine passion for teaching. If you're intellectually sharp, driven to grow and deliver results, and humble enough to learn from every student and colleague while lifting others up, we want to talk to you.

We deliver world-class electrical safety and technical training. Our instructors don't just teach — they inspire, engage, and transform how professionals work with electricity. You will be the face of excellence, sharing your hard-earned expertise while continuously improving our programs.

Position Overview

You will deliver high-quality custom and standard training programs to customers nationwide. This includes preparing and delivering dynamic lectures, leading hands-on labs, moderating engaging classroom discussions, and assessing student performance. You will use your experience and independent judgment to constantly improve existing courses and develop new training solutions that meet customer needs while driving business growth.

We value instructors who are not only subject-matter experts but also charismatic communicators who are truly passionate about their craft and excited to share that passion with others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding technical training (in-person and virtual) using NFPA 70, 70B, 70E, IEEE, ANSI, ASTM, ANSI/NETA, OSHA, and other relevant standards.
  • Create and continuously enhance training materials and curriculum.
  • Lead practical laboratory exercises and ensure students gain real, applicable skills.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through professional, engaging instruction.
  • Stay hungry for new knowledge and best practices in both electrical engineering and adult education.

Qualifications – We Need Someone Who Is:

  • Smart: Deep technical expert with strong electrical knowledge
  • Hungry: Highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership and continuously raises the bar
  • Humble: Approachable, collaborative, and genuinely committed to student success and team growth

Preferred Experience:

  • 10+ years of instruction/teaching, public speaking, or formal training experience in an adult education environment (strongly preferred)
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred)
  • 15+ years of hands-on low voltage industrial installation & troubleshooting experience
  • 15+ years of low voltage residential installation & troubleshooting experience
  • 15+ years of low voltage electronics installation & troubleshooting experience

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong command of basic and advanced electrical/electronic theory
  • Excellent working knowledge of electrical terms, branch circuits, grounding, wiring methods, conductor ampacity, motor circuits, motor controls, PLCs, drives, overcurrent protection, and related calculations
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, one-line diagrams, mechanical prints, and technical documentation
  • Thorough understanding of electrical shock, arc flash hazards, boundary calculations, safety regulations, and proper use of PPE
  • Knowledge of low voltage circuit breakers (installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting)
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and Adobe
  • Outstanding communication and customer relationship skills
  • Skilled in the use of basic tools
  • Valid Driver's License and passport

What Sets You Apart: You're the kind of person who lights up when teaching others. You combine technical depth with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and memorably. You're confident yet humble, ambitious yet collaborative, and always focused on delivering real value to every student and customer.

This is a remote-eligible position (anywhere in the USA), with travel required for in-person training sessions.

If you're Smart, Hungry, and Humble and passionate about electrical work and teaching it to others, we'd love to hear from you. Join a team that values expertise, continuous improvement, and making a real difference in electrical safety and training quality.
