Job Advert Mid-Level Privacy Lawyer (Contract)

About the Role

A highly innovative, global technology brand renowned for its direct-to-consumer platform in the travel and hospitality sector is seeking an experienced **mid-level Privacy Lawyer** for a 6-month contract role, starting mid-August. This is a unique chance to join a highly collaborative and forward-thinking international legal team that supports launches of new products and cutting-edge features across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise independently on a broad range of privacy issues, including:
• Incident response
• Data sharing requests
• Ad hoc privacy queries
• Drafting and reviewing compliance documents
• Serve as a key privacy point of contact within cross-functional teams (including product, engineering, and business teams) on product and feature launches
• Help shape privacy and data protection strategies for a high-growth technology company operating at true global scale

About You

• A qualified lawyer with **strong privacy/data protection experience**, ideally gained working in or advising technology companies, especially those with consumer-facing products or services
• Able to work independently and autonomously on privacy matters, making sound risk-based decisions
• Previous experience collaborating across diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, ideally in an international environment
• Familiarity with product/cross-border privacy matters in the EMEA region
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and related privacy laws
