Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate transaction documents
  • Handle acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint venture matters from start to finish
  • Lead due diligence and closing processes across multiple active deals
  • Advise clients on legal and business issues tied to development and investment transactions
  • Partner with senior attorneys, clients, and counterparties to move deals forward efficiently
  • Manage sophisticated matters with a high degree of independence and sound judgment
  • Stay current on market trends and real estate law developments impacting clients and transactions

Qualifications

  • J.D. from a strong law school with excellent academic credentials
  • 8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience preferred
  • Background at a large, top-tier, or highly reputable law firm
  • Strong experience with purchase and sale, finance, and joint venture transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
  • Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously with limited supervision
