Pay: $130,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Location:

Remote within the California Bay Area. Enjoy the flexibility to work from home while remaining available to attend court appearances and in-person proceedings throughout the Bay Area as needed.

Note:

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in California, have at least 1 year of litigation experience, and reside in (or be willing to relocate to) the Bay Area to attend court hearings and related proceedings.

Job Description

  • Manage a litigation caseload with increasing independence.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to achieve outstanding client outcomes.
  • Communicate with clients regarding litigation strategy, case developments, and recommendations.
  • Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • Active California Bar license required.
  • 1+ year of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
  • Trial experience is a plus.
  • Must reside in or relocate to the California Bay Area.
