Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Note: Must have a Professional Engineer license and at least 4 years of post-graduate civil engineering experience. This role is not open to remote candidates.

Job Description

  • Lead civil engineering work across land development and infrastructure projects from concept through completion
  • Prepare, review, and approve construction documents, specifications, permit applications, shop drawings, and submittals
  • Design and coordinate subdivision improvements, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water systems, grading, erosion control, paving, and stormwater solutions
  • Prepare land use applications and help navigate local jurisdictional requirements and permitting processes
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and day-to-day coordination to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, buildable designs
  • Support client-facing activities including proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
  • Maintain strong technical quality, clear documentation, and responsive communication throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of civil engineering experience after graduation
  • PE license required
  • Strong experience with land development and civil site design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Montana experience or Montana licensure preferred
  • Bluebeam and landscape rendering knowledge helpful
