Job Description
- Lead civil engineering work across land development and infrastructure projects from concept through completion
- Prepare, review, and approve construction documents, specifications, permit applications, shop drawings, and submittals
- Design and coordinate subdivision improvements, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water systems, grading, erosion control, paving, and stormwater solutions
- Prepare land use applications and help navigate local jurisdictional requirements and permitting processes
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and day-to-day coordination to keep projects moving efficiently
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, buildable designs
- Support client-facing activities including proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
- Maintain strong technical quality, clear documentation, and responsive communication throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 4+ years of civil engineering experience after graduation
- PE license required
- Strong experience with land development and civil site design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Montana experience or Montana licensure preferred
- Bluebeam and landscape rendering knowledge helpful
