Location: Remote, based in Colorado. You can work from anywhere in Colorado while collaborating closely with a high-performing litigation team headquartered out of the Los Angeles area and expanding into Denver and across the state.

Note: You must live in Colorado and be licensed to practice law in California or Colorado, or be licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California or Colorado Bar. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, court appearances, and some deposition experience, with the ability to travel occasionally.

Job Description

  • Handle a caseload of employment, wage-and-hour, and consumer class and representative actions in state and federal courts
  • Draft complaints, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal briefs in complex civil litigation matters
  • Conduct written and oral discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery and assisting with deposition preparation and strategy
  • Argue motions and appear in court (virtually and in person as needed), conferences, and hearings
  • Assist with case strategy, legal research, and analysis to support class certification, dispositive motions, and settlement
  • Communicate regularly with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel, keeping clients informed and supported throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff across states to manage deadlines, filings, and case workflows efficiently
  • Travel occasionally within Colorado or to other jurisdictions for hearings, mediations, depositions, or firm needs

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California or Colorado, or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California or Colorado Bar
  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, and court appearances; experience with depositions is a plus
  • Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, or wage-and-hour/employment law is strongly preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills with a detail-oriented, organized work style
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a remote environment while maintaining high-quality work
  • Professional, steady work history and a genuine interest in plaintiff-side advocacy and workers rights
  • Must live in Colorado and be comfortable with occasional travel
