Location: Remote role. Must be based in Dallas, TX and able to travel locally for client meetings in your market.

Note: Must have 2+ years selling and presenting to commercial architects (A&D) and driving sales through specifications. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Job Description

  • Build and grow relationships with commercial architects, general contractors, and key installing contractors in your local market (Dallas or Miami)
  • Drive sales through specifications by influencing product selection early in the design process
  • Deliver engaging product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and on-site meetings to project stakeholders
  • Proactively develop new opportunities through outreach, networking, and targeted project pursuit
  • Manage a pipeline from discovery through proposal, pricing support, and close
  • Coordinate with internal design and production teams to align on specs, finishes, timelines, and client requirements
  • Support bids, proposals, and pricing strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Track activity, forecasts, and follow-ups using CRM and monthly reporting
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and participate in relevant industry events as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience selling to and presenting to commercial architects (A&D)
  • Proven ability to drive wins through specifications (basis-of-design, written into specs, or approved vendor pathways)
  • Manufacturer's rep or building products rep experience in Dallas or Miami is strongly preferred
  • Strong relationships with commercial architects, and ideally GCs and wall/ceiling installing contractors
  • Experience with wall and ceiling products or systems is a plus (metal preferred: aluminum and steel)
  • Comfortable discussing technical details and coordinating across design, production, and field stakeholders
  • Highly organized and effective working remotely with consistent follow-through
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
