Territory Sales Manager--Southeast

JOB SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for selling Superior Cloth and Stitch (Wink, Carhartt, and Fashion Seal Healthcare) products to retailers, distributors, and healthcare providers to secure uniform programs. This role manages the Southeast territory consisting of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi.

Candidates based in the greater Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA metro areas are preferred.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies and calls on prospective customers to secure new business
  • Maintains current accounts and nurture existing relationships to increase business with those accounts
  • Provides sales reports to Regional Vice President of the territory as required
  • Attends corporate and industry-related events and shows
  • Provides product training for retailers
  • Collaborates with internal departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Design, etc.) to improve products, marketing materials, and customer experience
  • Secures new and incremental business by expanding Superior Cloth & Stitch’s footprint in both brick-and-mortar locations and .com as appropriate
  • Increases share of space by continually expanding distribution of Superior Cloth & Stitch products
  • Maximizes replenishment and seasonal sales by effectively presenting new and existing product lines
  • Improves in-store presence through effectively merchandising Superior Cloth & Stitch’s portfolio of products 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in apparel and/or medical sales
  • Demonstrated successful sales results
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency
  • Experience in CRM Software a plus
  • Ability to use data to build sales presentations and identify opportunities
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Strong communication skills both orally and written
  • Ability to travel an average of 70% of the time
