Our mission is to help seniors overcome complex health and social challenges, improve their long-term well-being, and maximize independence. We believe every senior deserves to have a dedicated advocate in their corner.

We are building an advocacy-first telehealth platform to democratize access to high-quality care and reach patients right where they are. Our physicians and Health Advocates work together to help patients untangle the U.S. healthcare system, overcome social determinant barriers, and make confident, informed decisions. Underpinning our platform is software + AI that superpowers our advocates and operations.

We're a small team. The founders are a former Google engineering manager, a former AI product and operations lead, and a physician with 30+ years of experience. We're early, we move fast, and we're writing the software that runs the whole care model.

About the Role

We're building an AI-native EHR. This isn't a chatbot stapled onto an old product — AI is built into how the system works, and it's a big part of what makes our care model possible.

You'll own features start to finish: the design discussion, the code, and then watching real users use it. The work moves around a lot. Some weeks you're deep in the AI side of the product; other weeks you're modeling a new part of the patient record or hammering out simplified billing workflows. We expect you to use AI to write code. Coding agents are part of how we work, and we'll set you up to get a lot out of them.

We care more about how you think than what's on your resume. Strong fundamentals, curiosity, and comfort working without a finished playbook matter more here than any specific framework.

What You'll Do

• Build the EHR: Create features and systems that superpower our practitioners to do their best work as well as enable the platform to scale.

• Take a problem from idea to production - we ship continuously and every day.

• Use AI to get more done, and help us get better at building this way.

• Keep the codebase healthy. Refactor, fix, and care about reliability; people's healthcare runs on this.

• Go wherever the feature needs you: frontend, data layer, background jobs, infra.

What You'll Bring

• Strong fundamentals. You can model data well, design a sane API, debug something hard, and write code other people are happy to work in. We weigh this over any particular stack.

• Backend experience with Python and Django.

• You already build with AI and want to build with it more. You're comfortable with LLMs and prompting, or you'll get there fast, and you have a sense for where AI helps and where it's just noise.

• A bias toward shipping. You take ownership, follow through, and don't need a big org around you to get things done.

• Good judgment and clear communication. You can explain your reasoning, push on a design, and take feedback well.

We value curiosity, drive, and potential. If your instincts are good, we'll invest in your growth.

Nice-to-Haves

• You've shipped LLM features in production.

• Healthcare, EHR, or FHIR experience (or interest in the domain).

• You've worked at a startup or somewhere fast-moving.

• Comfortable in a server-rendered frontend.

• Experience with Postgres and Redis.
