Role Overview

We are looking for a contractor to join our client's Influencer Marketing team and help deliver best-in-class influencer programs that strengthen brand equity and drive engagement. This role will work closely with our client's internal teams—including Brand, PR, Media, and Legal—to ensure influencer partnerships align with brand strategy and compliance standards. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of experience working in sports marketing and creating relationships with athletes. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building authentic relationships between brands and athlete creators, then this could be a great position for you. 

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the execution of influencer programs across social platforms, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and tone.
  • Work closely with Influencer agency and be the main point of contact on certain programs/campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals, compliance checks, and content usage rights.
  • Work with agency project manager to develop process and best ways of working to keep our team organized

Influencer Management:

  • Help maintain athlete influencer lists for from agency partners
  • Vet potential partners based on brand fit and audience insights.
  • Have direct relationships with athletes and sports marketing contacts

Content & Compliance:

  • Review influencer content from agency for brand guidelines, FTC compliance, and legal requirements.
  • Organize and track content approvals across internal teams.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Compile campaign performance data and assist in creating internal recap reports.
  • Share learnings and recommendations to optimize future campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in influencer marketing
  • Knowledge of the sports marketing with 4 or more years creating relationships with athletes
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with influencer platforms (e.g., Traackr,) is a plus.
  • Understanding of FTC guidelines and content usage rights.
  • Experience working with personal care or lifestyle brands in the men's self care space
  • Ability to navigate large organizations and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Analytical mindset with interest in campaign performance metrics.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Influencer campaigns are executed on time, within budget, and meet brand standards.
  • All influencer content is compliant with FTC guidelines and approved internally without delays.
  • Internal teams receive timely updates and clear communication on campaign progress.
  • Accurate reporting and actionable insights are delivered post-campaign.
  • Strong relationships are maintained with athlete/ influencers and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration.

++ This is a six month contract position from September to February. This role has the opportunity to extend past the six month mark. 

Must be based in Eastern or Central Time Zone.
