Project Manager – Engineering & Construction (Part-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager – Engineering & Construction with strong technical expertise and proven experience managing engineering and construction projects from planning through closeout.

The ideal candidate has advanced AutoCAD (2D & 3D) skills, a solid understanding of construction workflows, and experience working with US, UK, or Australian standards. You will take ownership of project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and construction projects from initiation to completion
  

• Interpret, review, and coordinate 2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings
  

• Own project scopes, schedules, and budgets from kickoff through closeout
  

• Manage multiple small to complex projects simultaneously
  

• Coordinate internal discipline teams and external subconsultants
  

• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  

• Monitor progress, performance, risks, and deliverables
  

• Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and reporting
  

• Manage subcontractors and suppliers
  

• Ensure compliance with US / UK / AU construction standards (preferred)
  

• Maintain quality control and safety compliance
  

• Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects
  

• Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering/construction project management
  

• Strong knowledge of US / UK / AU construction standards (preferred)
  

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
  

• Experience reviewing and coordinating technical drawings
  

• Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes
  

• Excellent leadership and communication skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  

• PMP certification (preferred but not required)

• AutoCAD (2D & 3D) – Advanced
  

• Project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent)
