Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Yoruba, Ibo, French Language Tutor to teach students online in a fun, interactive, and structured manner. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Yoruba and capable of tailoring lesson plans to suit learners of varying ages and proficiencies.


Deliver structured Yoruba lessons to students via online platforms.

Tailor lessons to suit students' learning levels and pace.

Provide progress reports and regular feedback.

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Use digital tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) to enhance lesson delivery.

Ability to teach children how to speak the language in a short time frame


Requirements


✅ Minimum of 3 years experience teaching Yoruba (online or in-person)
✅ Recognized teaching qualification or certification to teach a language
✅ Strong communication skills in both French, Yoruba or Igbo
✅ Proficient with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
✅ Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet, professional workspace
✅ Ability to teach students across various age groups (Primary to Secondary)
