Job description

Role Overview

As a UX Research Manager, you will bring independent ownership to our project lifecycles, translating business problems into effective research designs. Working closely with the Singapore UX Lead, and in partnership with other members of the team and internal account leaders, you will work collaboratively to support strategic client engagements, ensuring a tight balance between agile execution and rigorous delivery.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Independent Project Ownership: Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-market mixed-methods studies, ensuring a seamless blend of deep qualitative insights and robust quantitative validation.
  • Supporting Key Engagements: Work closely with the Singapore UX Lead and the broader account team to support major global and regional tech clients. You will assist in translating ambiguous product dilemmas into actionable research roadmaps and support the team through major milestone deliveries.
  • Project Management Excellence: Oversee the operational success of your projects in partnership with the wider team, ensuring strong resource utilization, timeline management, and quality assurance benchmarks.
  • Impactful Storytelling: Direct the data synthesis process, guiding the project team to turn disparate data points into compelling, executive-ready presentations that provide clear product recommendations and experience frameworks.
The AI Frontier: The Augmented Ipsos Philosophy

As a UX Research Manager, you will champion our commitment to the Augmented Ipsos framework—driving the powerful fusion of Human Intelligence + Artificial Intelligence:

  • Workflow Innovation: As a UX Research Manager, you actively model and promote the use of advanced AI utilities within the project team's daily workflows to reduce operational friction and optimize the end-to-end process.
  • Driving Agility & Output: You constantly evaluate how to lean into AI capabilities to exponentially improve the agility, depth, and creative quality of our research outputs.
  • Experimental Mindset: You possess a strong grasp of AI's potential and a willingness to learn, pilot new tools, and assess how they can expand Ipsos's capability to deliver faster, sharper insights without sacrificing data integrity.
  Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Background: 5+ years of research experience, ideally spanning consumer insights, human-computer interaction (HCI), or established market insights within Ipsos’ Service Lines, with strong evidence of managing digital or tech-focused projects.
  • Methodological Foundations: Strong proficiency in overarching research methodologies (spanning both custom quantitative and qualitative frameworks) with the ability to easily adapt these skills to product and usability evaluation.
  • Working Style: A unique combination of structured project management and personal adaptability. You are equally comfortable framing research logic for a client report or collaborating with the Singapore UX Lead and team members to refine a workflow.
  • Environment: A proven track record of independently driving multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented environment aligned with Ipsos' core values.
