About the Role:

We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, Category Strategy & Analysis to be the analytical engine behind the Hims categories — Sexual Health (ED/PE), Testosterone, and Hair. You’ll partner with the GM and Category Directors to shape, prioritize, and drive the initiatives that move the P&L, turning rich analytics and synthesized insight into decisions: what we build, what we launch, and in what order.

This is a strategy seat with real leverage. The Hims portfolio runs on two roadmaps — the tech product roadmap and the treatment development pipeline — and your sizing, models, and prioritization frameworks are what keep both honest, aligned, and defensible in front of leadership.

Reports to the General Manager, Hims. Works day-to-day with Category Directors, finance, product, analytics, and clinical partners.

You Will:

Drive Category Strategy & Prioritization

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the GM and Category Directors on the category’s biggest levers — acquisition, retention, conversion, and new-treatment launches.

  • Own the analytical backbone of growth initiative management: size opportunities, build prioritization frameworks (impact vs. effort, must-have vs. nice-to-have), and maintain a stack-ranked view across the acquisition, tech product, and treatment development roadmap.

  • Pressure-test business cases before they reach leadership — make the assumptions explicit and the trade-offs visible.

  • Generate ideas and stay on the lookout for opportunities that sit beyond one initiative and would meaningfully drive business value.

Lead in Analytics & Modeling

  • Use business acumen and justifiable assumptions to build models that drive real decisions — forecasts, scenario analyses, initiative sizing.

  • Create and manipulate dashboards and charts in Looker and Amplitude to draw conclusions, feed models, and make recommendations.

  • Own recurring performance reads — initiative scorecards and WBR inputs across revenue, contribution margin, retention, S2S, and ARPU.

  • Become a close partner to the analytics team, understanding the nuances of data and reporting.

Champion Experiments & Strategic Projects

  • Develop and deploy experiments with product and analytics; monitor results and recommend iterations and improvements.

  • Act as a leader, key resource, and thought partner in the execution of high-priority one-off projects.

  • Proactively generate hypotheses and solve for problems before they arise; adapt quickly to new organizational priorities.

Support Treatment & Program Launches

  • Analyze the potential of new treatments, SKUs, and programs — build scenarios and initial forecast models that feed the treatment development roadmap.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in men’s health.

  • Help build the launch playbook — map what has to be true for launch success, from clinical and regulatory milestones to go-to-market.

You Have:

  • 6+ years of business experience; management consulting or strategy experience is required.

  • Proven experience in strategic analytics and business prioritization.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

  • Demonstrated success synthesizing large amounts of data into clear, executive-ready narratives and materials.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive and flexible mindset — you identify and address challenges independently and quickly.

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Direct-to-consumer, telehealth, or consumer health experience.

  • Looker / Amplitude fluency.

  • Experience supporting product or treatment roadmap planning in a regulated environment.

Why This Role Matters:

The Hims categories win or lose on prioritization — which bets get funded, which launches get sequenced first, and whether the roadmap reflects the numbers. This role owns that analytical foundation. Do it well, and you’ll shape what Hims builds and launches next — with a clear path toward Director-level category ownership.

Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):

  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles

  • Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days

  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)

  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

  • Offsite team retreats

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
