We're looking for a DevOps Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating manual processes, and building reliable cloud platforms. If you're passionate about Kubernetes, cloud technologies, automation, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you. 

NOTE: This is a Full-Time opportunity (employed through our Employer of Record partner)

This position is intended to be performed from Mexico or another country in Latin America.

About the Team

You'll join a collaborative, globally distributed Technology team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and security of Lumivero's SaaS platform. Our DevOps engineers partner closely with Software Engineering, Security, and Product teams to build and maintain the infrastructure that enables rapid, reliable software delivery.

This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while having a direct impact on the platform that powers our products.

What You'll Do

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll help ensure our production platform remains secure, reliable, and highly available while continuously improving how software is built and deployed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments using kOps and Helm.
  • Administer AWS infrastructure and supporting cloud services.
  • Support Azure environments and related services.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and Pipelines as Code solutions.
  • Automate deployments, Docker image creation, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Design and maintain scalable environments that support our growing SaaS platform.
  • Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production incidents.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and operational excellence.
  • Continuously improve platform automation, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Able to participate in On-call rotations

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar infrastructure role.
  • Experience managing Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong Linux administration experience.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Pipelines as Code.
  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or ArgoCD.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (CEFR B2 or higher). Candidates should be comfortable participating in technical discussions, collaborating in meetings, and reading and writing technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

  • Kubernetes and Helm
  • Terraform, Packer, or Ansible
  • AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, ELB, Route53, RDS, and CloudWatch
  • Azure services including AKS, RBAC, Virtual Networks, and Application Gateway
  • MySQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
