Job description

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service? We are looking for a Bilingual Disability Administrator to join our National Group Life & Disability team.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, helping ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of disability and life insurance services. You'll play a key role in supporting claim operations, safeguarding client privacy, coordinating important processes, and contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Process access and file copy requests by reviewing documentation and consents to ensure appropriate information is released.
  • Carefully review and redact third-party information to maintain compliance with privacy requirements and prevent privacy breaches.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries received through multiple shared email inboxes.
  • Complete claim-related follow-ups and administrative activities.
  • Process vendor invoice payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform data entry and maintain information within claims management systems.
  • Prepare, distribute, print, and mail correspondence to claimants, clients, and other stakeholders while ensuring privacy protocols are followed.
  • Coordinate and schedule Medical Consultant calls.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, including file transfers and administrative coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree).
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
  • Experience in administrative or customer service (insurance or banking).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, as well as Adobe applications.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies, take ownership of issues, and drive them to resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary range is expected to be between

$41 400,00 CAD - $69 000,00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
