Job description

We're looking for an early-career CFP® professional who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to grow as a trusted financial advisor. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to expand beyond traditional financial planning by developing expertise in the financial topics that matter most to physicians.

You'll serve as the primary advisor for physician households, helping clients make informed financial decisions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes financial planners, advisors, a CPA, an attorney, and client service associates.

What You'll Do

  • Lead financial planning meetings and build long-term relationships with physician clients.
  • Develop the expertise to independently lead Student Loan Planning meetings through structured training and mentorship.
  • Develop expertise in Disability Insurance and confidently advise clients on their options.
  • Collaborate with planners and subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive financial advice.
  • Shadow experienced advisors, then develop your own advising style.
  • Contribute to improving our client experience and advising processes as you grow in the role.
  • What Makes This Role Different

Unlike many financial planning roles, this position is centered on client conversations and financial advice. Our goal is to maximize your time with clients—not administrative work.

Meetings are prepared for you, follow-up communication is handled with your input, and you'll have access to the information and support you need to focus on advising.

You'll receive direct mentorship from our founder, who has more than 12 years of experience advising physicians, along with guidance from an experienced team of advisors and planners. We don't expect you to arrive as an expert in Disability Insurance or Student Loan Planning—we expect you to be curious, eager to learn, and confident communicating new concepts as your expertise grows.

As your career develops, you'll have opportunities to expand your responsibilities based on both your interests and the evolving needs of the firm. Whether that's client advising, business development, or helping shape new service offerings, we encourage advisors to grow in ways that create value for both our clients and the team.

    We're Looking for Someone Who

  • Holds an active CFP® certification
  • Has 1–4 years of financial planning experience.
  • Builds trust naturally and enjoys working one-on-one with clients.
  • Learns quickly and is excited to develop expertise in new planning disciplines.
  • Communicates complex financial concepts clearly and confidently.

  • About Us

We're a fully remote firm serving physician households with integrated financial planning, investment management, tax, legal, insurance, and student loan guidance. For more than a decade, we've helped physicians navigate complex financial decisions through collaborative, fiduciary advice.

    Benefits

  • Fully remote position.
  • 401(k) after one year, plus profit sharing.
  • A collaborative team with structured mentorship and ongoing professional development.
  • *Health insurance is not currently offered.
