Whether you're new to care or looking to build on your existing experience, we'll provide the support and training you need to succeed.
At Home Instead, we believe quality care starts with quality time. That's why we never rush our visits, committing to minimum one-hour visits so you can build meaningful relationships and provide the outstanding care our clients deserve.
Are you the dependable friend or neighbour everyone turns to? The person who listens, offers reassurance, and is always happy to help? If so, you already have the qualities that make an exceptional Care Professional.
Kindness, compassion, patience and reliability are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for people who share those values.
Various hours and shift patterns available, with flexible working to fit around your lifestyle.
Home Instead Kirklees provides care across Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, Honley, Holmfirth, Golcar, Lindley, Kirkheaton and Midgley.
So, what's the job really about?
As a Care Professional, no two days are ever the same.
You might start your morning helping Mrs Smith get ready for the day, supporting her with washing, dressing and choosing an outfit before sitting together to enjoy a cup of tea and breakfast.
Later, you could visit Mr Jones to help him take his medication, prepare a nutritious meal, assist with personal care, or accompany him to the local shops or an appointment. You may also help with light household tasks to keep his home safe and comfortable.
But this role is about so much more than completing tasks.
You'll become a trusted companion, a friendly face, a reassuring presence and someone your clients genuinely look forward to seeing. By providing personalised care and companionship, you'll help older adults remain safe, independent and happy in the comfort of their own homes.
