Kindness, compassion, patience and reliability are at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for people who share those values.

Job Description

So, what's the job really about?

As a Care Professional, no two days are ever the same.

You might start your morning helping Mrs Smith get ready for the day, supporting her with washing, dressing and choosing an outfit before sitting together to enjoy a cup of tea and breakfast.

Later, you could visit Mr Jones to help him take his medication, prepare a nutritious meal, assist with personal care, or accompany him to the local shops or an appointment. You may also help with light household tasks to keep his home safe and comfortable.

But this role is about so much more than completing tasks.

You'll become a trusted companion, a friendly face, a reassuring presence and someone your clients genuinely look forward to seeing. By providing personalised care and companionship, you'll help older adults remain safe, independent and happy in the comfort of their own homes.

Interested in training?

At Home Instead, we're passionate about helping our Care Professionals grow. Our award-winning training programme is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Whether you're completely new to care or bringing previous experience, we'll support you every step of the way.
