Partner with the best

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Software Engineers in the design, development, and support of enterprise applications built on Oracle technologies. You will act as the technical leader for Oracle APEX solutions, driving architecture decisions, development standards, and best practices while collaborating with architects, stakeholders, and management to deliver scalable and secure business applications. You will also contribute to the extended Sr Software Engineers community and work independently while providing technical guidance to the team.

As an Oracle APEX Tech Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of Oracle APEX developers in the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise applications.

• Driving technical excellence, development standards, and best practices across the Oracle APEX application portfolio.

• Acting as the technical authority for Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and related Oracle technologies.

• Defining and reviewing application architecture, data models, security frameworks, and integration patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Collaborating with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, and Functional Teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Providing effort estimations, technical assessments, risk analysis, and solution recommendations throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade Oracle APEX applications using UI/UX principles and Oracle best practices.

• Building and maintaining integrations between Oracle APEX applications and enterprise systems through Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and other integration technologies.

• Establishing and enforcing SDLC standards, Agile methodologies, code review practices, testing strategies, documentation standards, and secure development principles.

• Leading troubleshooting activities for complex production issues, performance tuning initiatives, and root cause analysis.

• Providing technical mentoring, coaching, and career development support to team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Driving DevOps and CI/CD adoption for Oracle-based applications, ensuring reliable and automated deployment processes.

• Working closely with cybersecurity and governance teams to ensure applications comply with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.

• Monitoring application health, defining operational KPIs, and driving initiatives focused on reliability, performance, simplification, and incident reduction.

• Representing the team in technical design reviews, architecture boards, and cross-functional technology initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's degree in information systems/technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Have experience of 5 to 7 years

• Have professional experience as Technical Leader or similar, with deep focus on system design expertise.

• Have Demonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.

• Have extensive experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.

• Have strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including complex query optimization, database object design, and development of scalable database solutions.

• Have expertise in Oracle APEX security best practices, including authentication, authorization schemes, role-based access control, session management, data protection, and secure coding practices.

• Have proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript to customize Oracle APEX applications and deliver modern user experiences.

• Have experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other integration technologies.

• Have experience defining application architecture, technical standards, and development best practices for Oracle APEX solutions.

• Have experience leading technical teams, performing design and code reviews, and mentoring developers to ensure delivery excellence.

• Have experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and Agile software development practices.

• Have knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills in complex enterprise environments.

• Have Demonstrated solid leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with fluency in English.
