Regional Sales Manager — South & Central U.S.

The Opportunity

Our client is a growing lighting manufacturer seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across the South and Central United States.

This opportunity is ideal for a results-oriented lighting sales professional with experience in electrical distribution, territory development, and independent representative management. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with distributors, contractors, specifiers, and other channel partners while developing new business throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth and achieve territory revenue objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and market-development plans.
• Manage, train, and support independent sales representatives.
• Build relationships with electrical distributors, contractors, specifiers, and key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand regional market share.
• Support product training, customer presentations, and major sales opportunities.
• Represent the organization at industry events and regional trade shows.
• Monitor pipeline activity, sales performance, and competitive market conditions.
• Provide sales forecasts, market insight, and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Successful sales experience within lighting, electrical products, or a related technical market.
• Strong knowledge of the electrical-distribution channel.
• Experience managing a regional territory and independent sales representatives.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong communication, relationship-management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively throughout the region.

Location and Travel

Candidates should be based near a major transportation hub within the South or Central United States. Regular regional travel is required.
