We are looking for a business-oriented Mechanics Sourcing Engineer to support supplier development, strategic sourcing, and product industrialization activities in an international manufacturing environment.kit

Your responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and support vendor development activities.

  • Participate in supplier quality assessments, audits, and performance reviews.

  • Assist with RFQ and cost negotiation processes to achieve competitive pricing and optimal sourcing conditions.

  • Perform cost analysis including labor, material, tooling, and manufacturing costs.

  • Support DFM and product industrialization activities in cooperation with engineering and manufacturing teams.

  • Identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sourcing solutions.

  • Identify and analyze sourcing opportunities to achieve cost optimization and maximize value

  • Cooperate closely with cross-functional and multinational teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in sourcing mechanical commodities such as sheet metal, machining, stamping, or plastics.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.

  • Experience in EMS or industrial sectors such as aerospace, defence, medical, or industrial manufacturing is an advantage.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.

  • Good analytical skills and commercial awareness.

  • Very good English, both written and spoken.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in multinational environments.
