Job description

This is a remote position.

Your IT Recruiter is looking for an AI Expert Contributor: Organic and Inorganic Chemistry (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule).


Schedule:
Set your own schedule, work any time of day, ideally 8 - 40 hours per week.

About This Role:
Our client is helping an established AI company pioneering new approaches to data development find Organic and Inorganic Chemistry Subject Matter Experts.

In this role, you’ll support a research department by developing difficult, domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models. You'll also perform peer reviews of questions developed by others.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge approaches to data development!


Commitment: This is an independent contractor position staffed via our client. This role will be remote and is ideal for candidates located in U.S. time zones, excluding California, Illinois, and Texas, who are able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.

Requirements


  • Pay Structure
    • You'll be paid for each question you submit that passes peer review and for each question you peer review
    • We expect good performance to yield the equivalent of $30/hr

  • Required Qualifications
    • Undergraduate Degree, Graduate Degree (holder or candidate), faculty, or professional expert in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry or other relevant discipline
    • An academic or professional focus in Organic and Inorganic Chemistry

    • Recent experience in the field as:
      • Professor/Lecturer/Instructor
      • Graduate Assistant
      • Undergraduate or graduate level teaching assistant
      • Researcher
      • Editorial board member
      • Consultant, adviser, or professional in the field
    • Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    • The ability to write clear, thorough yet succinct summaries
    • Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials
    • Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks
    • A reliable computer and internet connection
    • A signed NDA and completed background check are required
    • Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus


Benefits

This is a contract position with the ability to work remotely.


Salary: $60,000
