The position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across Europe as part of a collaborative virtual team within a shared services environment.

The role is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience preparing statutory accounts under Polish GAAP. While previous corporate tax experience is beneficial, we also welcome candidates interested in expanding their expertise across corporate tax compliance, tax provisioning, deferred taxes, and transfer pricing.

About the Team/Department

The team operates within an international and collaborative environment, providing opportunities to build relationships across multiple countries and gain broad exposure to multinational finance and tax processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage local statutory financial statements in accordance with Polish GAAP and statutory requirements.

  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and requests.

  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation required for local corporate income tax filings.

  • Partner with external tax advisors to manage corporate tax compliance and respond to tax-related enquiries.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, outsourced service providers, and tax authorities.

  • Prepare year-end tax reporting schedules and ensure accurate completion of global tax reporting requirements.

  • Oversee transfer pricing compliance and related documentation for Polish entities.

  • Monitor changes in local accounting and tax regulations and assess their potential impact on business operations.

  • Collaborate with finance and shared service colleagues to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, governance, and compliance processes.

Experience You'll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse and international environment.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing reporting deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tax and regulatory disciplines.

  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professional judgement.
