This is a remote position.

Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-Time
Active IRS MBI Clearance Required

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and support critical IRS projects. You’ll manage and maintain Oracle databases end-to-end — making sure they’re secure, stable, and performing at their best. This role is fully remote and offers the chance to work on impactful, mission-critical systems in a collaborative team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases.

  • Handle database creation, migration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Implement and manage strong security protocols (encryption, authentication, compliance).

  • Monitor and tune performance to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Automate routine tasks with shell scripting and tools like Crontab.

  • Support applications, troubleshoot database issues, and participate in on-call rotations.

  • Work closely with Oracle support and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong skills in PL/SQL, performance tuning, security, data modeling, and automation.

  • Basic understanding of Linux, storage, and networking.

  • Experience with ICCE and eServices is a plus.

Bonus Points:

  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.

  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).




Salary: 100000 to 150000
