Soleo Health is seeking a Strategic Account Manager, Provider Networks to build and manage strategic relationships with healthcare provider organizations, including IPAs, medical groups, hospitals, and other provider networks. This role will expand market access, drive referral growth, support provider partnership and contracting initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve patient access to our specialty pharmacy and infusion services. The Position:

The Strategic Account Manager, Provider Networks is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), medical groups, Management Service Organizations (MSOs), hospitals, and delegated provider networks to expand market access, support contracting, and drive referral growth for the Company’s specialty pharmacy and infusion services. 


This role focuses on navigating risk-bearing provider structures to unlock access, align referral pathways, and drive measurable volume growth across acute, IG, and specialty therapies. The Manager partners closely with Sales, Payor Relations, Finance, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure effective contract implementation, strong provider engagement, and sustained growth within assigned markets. Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with IPAs, medical groups, MSOs, hospitals and other delegated provider networks and risk-bearing organizations within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand access to the Company’s specialty pharmacy and infusion services through provider partnerships and network development.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to provider leadership, , administrators, and key decision-makers, influencing referral pathways and program adoption
  • Partner with Payor Relations and internal leadership to support and influence provider contracting strategies, including participation in discussions with IPAs and medical groups to improve access and alignment.
  • Ensure successful implementation of provider agreements, driving adoption and ongoing performance against partnership objectives.
  • Educate provider leadership and care teams on the Company’s services, patient support programs, and clinical capabilities.  
  • Collaborate with field sales, clinical, and operational teams to ensure coordinated outreach, account engagement, and patient access.
  • Monitor referral trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity within IPA and medical group networks, and implement action plans to improve performance.  
  • Communicate market insights, provider feedback, and growth opportunities to leadership to inform strategic planning. 
  • Participate in regional provider meetings, healthcare forums, and professional organizations to strengthen market presence and relationships.
  • Execute a strategic territory plan focused on high-value provider networks and growth opportunities.
  • Drive measurable referral growth and utilization through targeted pull-through strategies within contracted and non-contracted provider networks.  
  • Develop new accounts and services existing accounts, obtain new business, by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential referral sources or customers
  • Identify opportunities to re-engage inactive referral sources and expand partnerships with new provider networks.
  • Support internal initiatives that improve provider engagement, access, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of provider interactions, contracting activities, and performance metrics within the Company’s CRM or field automation system.
  • Provide regular reporting on partnership activity, referral growth, and territory performance. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy services, infusion therapies, and evolving healthcare market dynamics.
  • Analyze market conditions, referral trends, and business performance to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategy.
  • Acts as an internal resource to support cross-functional teams in understanding healthcare payment models and provider network structures. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of healthcare industry experience in provider relations, healthcare sales, network development, or market access roles. 
  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, including Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975.
  • Familiarity with risk-based payment models (e.g., shared savings, downside risk) and provider structures such as IPAs, ACOs, MSOs, and physician-hospital organizations.
  • Working knowledge of key regulatory and operational concepts such as delegation, Restricted Knox -Keene (RKK), and Division of Financial Responsibility (DOFR).
  • Experience working with IPAs, medical groups, MSOs, or delegated provider networks strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting or participating in provider contracting, network development, or partnership agreements.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, or a closely related healthcare delivery model strongly preferred.
