Job description

The Marketing Data Analyst is a proactive, results-oriented individual responsible for analyzing and segmenting data with a bias towards generating insights to inform marketing strategies and models. The analyst must have experience with decision analytic practices and tools while also being able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing and generating insights which will then assist the Marketing team in development of marketing strategies.
  • Conduct analysis including retrieval, manipulation and analysis of complex datasets.
  • Responsible for the ongoing performance monitoring of marketing strategies and making subsequent recommendations in order to improve performance.
  • Ability to work with and influence leadership regarding marketing decisions.
  • Plan and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Partner with various teams (Marketing, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to ensure solutions meet business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally (executives, partners, customers, etc.).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Mathematic, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar from an accredited college/university
  • 5+ years experience in marketing analysis

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of decision analytics practices and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with various analytical tools (SQL, PowerBI, R, SAS, etc.) ยท
