About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a QA Engineer at Everglade Works, you'll be responsible for testing, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach the market. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a passion for product excellence are paramount.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure that our solutions are seamless, secure, and bug-free. This position allows you to have a direct impact on the user experience, shaping the quality of products that are used by businesses across multiple industries.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design, create, and execute manual and automated tests for new and existing features of our software products

- Collaborate with product teams to define test plans and acceptance criteria

- Perform regression testing and validate bug fixes and new features

- Identify and document defects, track them through the lifecycle, and ensure timely resolution

- Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test documentation

- Participate in code reviews to ensure that testability is considered during development

- Monitor software performance, track issues, and report trends related to quality

- Ensure proper coverage of test cases and assist in verifying release readiness

- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, replicating customer environments to test thoroughly

- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product quality throughout the development process

- Provide feedback to the development team and contribute to continuous quality improvement

You'll Excel in This Role If You

- Have 2+ years of experience in a QA Engineering role (manual and automated testing)

- Are proficient in QA tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, etc.)

- Have hands-on experience writing test scripts and creating test cases for web and mobile applications

- Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC)

- Have experience with API testing and working with RESTful services

- Are familiar with version control (Git, GitHub)

- Know how to identify and analyze performance bottlenecks

- Have strong troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset

- Are familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and work in fast-paced environments

- Have excellent communication skills to report defects, bugs, and issues in a clear and concise manner

- Bonus: Experience with performance testing and security testing
