Responsibilities:

Campaigns & Launch Support:

  • Support partner and product-led launches with coordinated social content and promotion, including managing drip marketing campaigns for launches.

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and events.

  • Coordinate with regional marketing and paid social teams to ensure alignment and support during key campaigns and launches.

Social Media Management & Content:

  • Explore, evaluate, and manage the brand's entry and presence on new and emerging social platforms.

  • Run social listening to track sentiment, surface trends and conversations, and inform content and campaign strategy.

  • Own daily social management and content creation across all Walrus channels.

  • Build and scale the Walrus YouTube channel by developing a content roadmap, managing uploads, and optimizing content for maximum reach.

  • Build and maintain a formulaic content schedule β€” a repeatable cadence of content formats and series that keeps channels consistently active.

  • Write and edit compelling social copy tailored to various channels and audiences.

  • Own the organization, scheduling, and execution of Walrus-hosted X Spaces.

Executive Communications:

  • Amplify executive communications across social channels, working closely with the Comms and Exec Social teams.

  • Support leadership's social media accounts, including writing, engagement, and content strategy.

KOLs & Creators:

  • Identify, build, and manage relationships with KOLs and creators to extend campaign reach and credibility.

  • Coordinate creator content for campaigns, launches, and events.

Events Activation:

  • Lead social activation around events, driving awareness and attendance at specific events.

  • Assist in organizing and executing marketing events, such as conferences, on-the-ground activations, and sponsorships, including logistics and design needs.

Project Management, Collaboration & Communication:

  • Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, working with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.

  • Maintain project and editorial schedules and track progress to ensure timely delivery of all campaign elements.

  • Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including drip sequences, list management, content creation, and performance analysis.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, DevRel, Education, Growth, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Comms, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging.

Qualifications:

  • 6 – 9 years proven experience in social media marketing or a similar role, with demonstrated ownership of brand social channels.

  • Experience working with KOLs and creators, including sourcing, relationship management, and campaign coordination.

  • Experience running social listening and translating insights into content and campaign decisions.

  • Experience managing drip/lifecycle marketing campaigns tied to launches.
