CHARTER CAPTAIN & MATE/CHEF COUPLE TEAM

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Charter Captain and Mate/Chef Couple Team to join an active sailing family and their guests aboard a beautiful sailing yacht.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional couple who take pride in maintaining high standards onboard while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring owners, guests, and charter clients enjoy memorable and well-managed sailing adventures.

Position Overview:
Captain:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe navigation, operation, maintenance, and overall management of the yacht while delivering a first-class experience for owners and charter guests.
Mate/Chef:
The Mate/Chef will be responsible for meal preparation, provisioning, guest hospitality, housekeeping support, and assisting with deck operations and sailing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Captain:
- Safe operation and navigation of the yacht
- Charter guest management and experience
- Passage planning and voyage preparation
- Vessel maintenance and upkeep
- Safety management and regulatory compliance
- Managing onboard operations to a professional standard
Mate/Chef:
- Meal planning and provisioning
- Preparing high-quality meals for guests and crew
- Guest hospitality and service
- Interior presentation and housekeeping support
- Assisting with sailing operations and deck duties
- Supporting guest activities onboard
Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore Commercially Endorsed
- STCW
- Minimum 2-3 seasons of sailing yacht charter experience
- Proven experience operating charter sailing yachts between 40ft and 60ft
- Strong sailing knowledge and practical seamanship
- Good engineering and maintenance skills
- Professional presentation and communication skills
