Neogen is seeking a skilled and business-minded Global Sourcing Manager to lead supplier sourcing, qualification, contract negotiation, and supplier performance activities for designated product lines and commodities. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who can balance strategic sourcing, risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship management to support operational excellence and long-term business goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to support designated product lines and commodity needs.
  • Prepare bid requests, contract proposals, and related documentation to initiate and support procurement processes.
  • Negotiate and execute supplier agreements that help secure a competitive market position for the organization.
  • Manage supplier performance, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
  • Identify key materials and develop secondary and tertiary supplier strategies to support supply continuity.
  • Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and other internal teams to onboard suppliers and resolve supplier-related concerns.


Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, supply chain, or a related business function.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to assess market conditions, identify sourcing risks, and recommend appropriate business actions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, or Legal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, documents, and supplier onboarding requirements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and a professional approach to stakeholder management.
