Freelance Translator: English to Multiple Indic Languages

MAIN DUTIES:


Translate and review content from English into Indic language in a manner that is accurate, readable and understandable to target audience.  

Content types: UI/Marketing/Social media   


The project will include 2 main tasks:

Consultancy project: we will work with the linguists to understand the language information.

Regular Translation project: the regular translation project will come afterwards once we have more ideas about these languages.

Requirements

• Native Speaker of the language you are applying for.
  
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in creating, translating and reviewing content in the target language
  
• Subject matter expertise in creating/translating content in IT/Marketing/Social Media.
  
• Excellent communications and comprehension skills of English Source.
  
• Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools or willing to learn new tools.
  
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent is a plus.
  
• Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
  
• Able to both translate and review will be a plus.
