RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot;
- Contribute to the evolution of microservices architecture, ensuring performance, resilience, and maintainability;
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations across distributed systems;
- Improve system observability, monitoring, and logging;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs;
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Follow engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and automation;
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud-native environments;
- Support containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for people with:
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields;
- Intermediate or Advanced skills in English, both written and oral;
- Solid backend development experience with Java;
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices;
- Experience developing and scaling high-throughput and distributed applications;
- Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, or similar platforms;
- Experience with DevOps and cloud-native tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or similar technologies;
- Experience working in Agile environments;
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving;
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring MVC;
- Knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and development best practices;
- Experience with software testing concepts, including unit, integration, regression, stress, and test automation;
- Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken.
