About This Role
This is not just a billable position. Niyam is investing in building a formal Maximo practice, and this person will be at the center of that effort.
Your initial engagement will be with FEMA supporting the Logistics and Property Management System (LPMS), where you will serve as the Senior Solution Architect and primary technical authority. From that delivery foundation, you will grow into broader practice leadership, shaping how Niyam wins, staffs, and delivers Maximo work across the federal civilian market, including DHS and adjacent agencies.
This role is eligible for Niyam's Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP), which rewards contributions to business development capture and program management outcomes.
What You'll Do
Delivery (Primary)
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of IBM Maximo Asset Management (7.6.x) and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) solutions at FEMA and future client engagements.
- Serve as the technical authority across EAM, system architecture, data architecture, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and application modernization.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, project managers, infrastructure teams, and development resources to design scalable, secure, high-performing Maximo solutions.
- Design and maintain enterprise data models supporting asset management, maintenance, inventory, procurement, and operational workflows.
- Establish data governance standards, master data management practices, and data quality frameworks across Maximo and integrated enterprise systems.
- Lead complex data migration, conversion, cleansing, and validation efforts for implementations and upgrades.
- Architect highly available, scalable, and secure Maximo environments supporting enterprise workloads.
- Lead integration strategy and implementation between Maximo, financial systems, and other enterprise platforms.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity policies, FedRAMP requirements, FISMA, and NIST standards.
- Mentor and guide administrators, developers, configurators, analysts, and support personnel.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design workshops, and solution governance activities.
Practice Building (Growth Path)
- Support Maximo-related capture efforts by contributing to technical volumes, solution approaches, and proposals in response to federal RFPs and task orders.
- Help recruit, interview, and onboard Maximo talent to build out the practice team.
- Develop and refine Niyam's Maximo service offerings, methodologies, delivery frameworks, and reusable proposal collateral.
- Represent Niyam's Maximo capabilities to current and prospective clients and teaming partners.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps that position Niyam for growth across DHS and the broader civilian agency market.
