Job description

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking an experienced Epic Patient Access Analyst with expertise in Epic Cadence, Prelude, Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), and Decision Trees to support strategic patient access initiatives for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a direct hire, primarily remote opportunity with quarterly travel required for onsite meetings, project milestones, and go-live support.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, configures, tests, and maintains Epic Patient Access applications, including Cadence, Prelude, Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), and Decision Trees.
  • Configures and supports Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) workflows, including payer connectivity, eligibility verification, insurance response troubleshooting, and workflow optimization to improve front-end revenue cycle performance.
  • Designs, builds, and maintains Epic Decision Trees to guide registration and scheduling staff through standardized workflows, ensuring accurate data collection, insurance verification, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Supports patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and patient throughput workflows.
  • Serves as the liaison between Patient Access operations, Revenue Cycle leadership, Information Technology, Epic stakeholders, and third-party vendors to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and support operational initiatives.
  • Provides end-user support, troubleshoots application issues, coordinates software updates, and supports system optimization.
  • Creates and executes test plans, validation scripts, and integrated testing for application changes, upgrades, and new functionality.
  • Collaborates with technical teams to identify infrastructure, interface, and integration issues impacting Patient Access workflows.
  • Supports ongoing Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, regulatory changes, and change management activities following ITIL best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Cadence and Prelude Certifications required.
  • Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) Certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of Epic Patient Access analyst experience, including Epic Cadence and Prelude build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and optimizing Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) workflows, including payer connectivity, eligibility response troubleshooting, and insurance verification processes.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Epic Decision Trees to support registration, scheduling, and patient access workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
