Integration Analyst II –Federal Laboratory Program

The Integration Analyst II independently designs, implements, and supports laboratory client integrations. This role serves as a primary technical resource for physician practices, health systems, and partner organizations supporting Federal Laboratory programs, ensuring reliable and compliant electronic data exchange throughout the laboratory testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support HL7 and API‑based laboratory interfaces.

  • Lead client connectivity onboarding activities, including technical discovery and testing coordination.

  • Troubleshoot complex interface issues impacting laboratory ordering, results delivery, and specimen workflows.

  • Analyze client and LIS/EHR requirements to ensure accurate mapping and configuration.

  • Collaborate with laboratory operations, client IT teams, vendors, and middleware teams.

  • Ensure integrations meet turnaround time, data integrity, and compliance requirements.

  • Participate in change management, incident management, and root cause analysis.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Integration Analyst I team members.

  • Maintain detailed interface specifications, validation results, and operational documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 2 or more years performing work as an Information Technology Knowledge Associate supporting Federal Laboratory Programs.

  • US Agency Federal Secret Clearance.

  • 3 or more years of healthcare information technology integration experience.

  • 3 or more years of experience with laboratory workflows and LIS functionality.

Additional Job Standards

  • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x message types (ORM, ORU, ADT).

  • Experience in laboratory workflows and LIS functionality.

  • Experience performing data mapping, transformations, and validation.

  • Experience supporting production healthcare interfaces in a regulated environment.

  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills.

Pay Range: $75,000-$120,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. 

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
