What you’ll achieve

As an Intranet Specialist, you will own and continuously evolve the company’s intranet ecosystem within Microsoft 365. With a strong focus on SharePoint and internal communication use cases, you will ensure the intranet delivers a structured, user-friendly, and engaging digital workplace experience. You will combine technical expertise, content governance, and user support to transform the intranet into a key driver of communication, collaboration, and employee engagement.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure a consistent, intuitive, and user-centric intranet experience across regions, teams, and functions
  • Build and enhance intranet functionalities using Power Automate, Power Apps, and other low-code tools to support communication and engagement scenarios
  • Partner with internal communications and business stakeholders to translate communication needs into effective intranet solutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for intranet-related topics, coordinating with IT, Microsoft experts, and business users
  • Support content owners and editors with best practices, training, and functional guidance
  • Oversee the implementation of brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across pages, templates, and components
  • Monitor intranet performance and adoption through analytics, dashboards, and user feedback, driving continuous improvement
  • Stay up to date with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance the intranet experience and mitigate risks

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communication, computer science, office management, or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint. Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of internal communications and how digital tools can support engagement and two-way communication
  • Solid understanding of intranet management, including information architecture, governance, and content lifecycle
  • Experience managing digital workplace structures, governance, and user-facing solutions in a complex environment
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on user experience, structure, and consistency
  • Graphical design skills, especially web design and lay-out
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

The baseline classification for the role is Level B1 under the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria, with a base Gross Annual Salary of € 30.814,29, corresponding to the applicable CBA minimum.
