Hospitals & Health Care

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, P.C. is one of the nation's premier multi-specialty medical groups, with more than 1,700 physicians spanning 50-plus subspecialties. Our medical group is independent from, but works exclusively with, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Inc. Together, we serve more than 800,000 Kaiser Permanente members in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia at 35 area medical centers, plus several community hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.     Our physicians, and the staff who support them — in fields from data analytics to finance to HR to project management — are shaping the future of health care. Our unique model of care (prepayment for value, rather than volume-based incentives) is designed to succeed by making and keeping patients well. Not only are our doctors spared from the typical hassle of insurance company pre-authorizations and paperwork, but they can work seamlessly across disciplines and are empowered to lead the way in driving better processes and better care.     The Permanente model welcomes world-class talent and gives all employees the tools they need to succeed. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

  • Provide narrowband UVB and broadband UVA phototherapy and robust home phototherapy, supported by our nurses and clinical pharmacists.
  • Robust teledermatology program allows you to work from home a few days a month
  • Clinical pharmacy-assisted methotrexate service
  • Set daily patient schedule <30
  • Collaboration within a large multi-specialty setting with all physicians easily accessible
  • New flexible templates available

  • Go “above and beyond” for their patients

We Provide You:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Pathway for physicians to become shareholders of MAPMG

  • Complete professional liability coverage provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunities
  • A concierge service that works directly with you to apply for all required state, CDS, and DEA licenses

In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
