Job description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's of Science in Civil/Structuring Engineering
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License required
Minimum 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design.
Must have advanced working proficiency in Civil 3D
Preference of working knowledge of Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD, StormCAD, or similar software.
Exposure to permitting and permit processes.
Should have and display strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

Maintain effective communications with department members, higher management, and with clients.
Perform calculations (hand calculations, computer aided calculations (spreadsheets and mathcad), and 3D modeling.
Assist in creation of contract drawings via providing drawing input to civil designer

Comments/Special Instructions:

PE is non-negotiable
visa sponsorship not possible
Position can be remote or near the client's office. Remote position is justified because the role does not require client- and contractor-face-to-face interaction, and coordination on the project is executed remotely.
Conversion after six months would be ideal.
