Compensation Range:

Hourly: $24.86 - $32.32

Position Summary

The Assessment and Curriculum Project Coordinator will support the College of Law and Public Service, reporting directly to the Director of Assessment and Curriculum. This part-time role will assist the Director of Assessment and Curriculum with several key projects within the College including preparing documentation for course development, curriculum changes/revisions and form preparation, and accreditation reporting. This role will support the Director of Assessment and Curriculum in various college initiatives involving curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation. Additional strategic tasks will be assigned as projects are scheduled. 

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Director of Assessment and Curriculum on curriculum and assessment projects.
  • Provides administrative support for catalog document preparation.
  • Assists the Director of Assessment and Curriculum with prioritization of course revisions and new development including submission of course slot requests and contracts.
  • Supports Academic Program Directors on projects for curriculum changes and revisions.
  • Supports the MOR and QOR process and materials preparation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Assessment and Curriculum.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field for assigned Department is preferred.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in an administrative support position required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Administrative support experience within a university setting is preferred.

Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Skilled in the use of various technologies.  Familiarity with Anthology, Power BI and CNET preferred.
  • Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.   
  • Ability to analyze and prepare data for various audiences.
  • Ability to participate as an active team member for the Business unit, Department and organization and work toward a common goal.  Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the operations.  Demonstrates an ability to participate as an active team member working toward common goals.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to influence, build effective relationships and gain alignment with peers, functional partners and/or external partners to accomplish business objectives.
  • Accepts personal accountability, proactively seeks resolution for personal limitations head-on; and supports honesty and respect towards others, the company and oneself.
  • Develops new insights into situations; questions conventional approaches; encourages new ideas and innovations; designs and implements new or cutting-edge programs and processes.
  • Ability to generate and/or recognize imaginative or creative solutions that generate successful outcomes.
  • Working knowledge, principles and practices of office management, systems policies and procedures including knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services within a higher education environment, preferred. 
  • Ability to resolve problems using initiative and creativity.
  • Solid critical thinking, reasoning skills to determine a different course of action and complete tasks and/or projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of organizational skills with attention to details, accuracy, follow-up, and follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

Location: Remote, USA

Travel:  Travel required as necessary, may include quarterly college/school meetings, commencement, and conferences.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.  Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
